1) Q: What did you learn about photography that you did not know before?
A: I learned a lot this semester about photography. Before I took this class all I thought about taking pictures was that you clicked a button. I now know that many things go into taking a good picture such as light and shutter speed. I also learned a lot about working with photoshop that I did not know before.
2) Q: What did you learn about yourself this semester?
A: This semester I learned how excited I would get when I took a picture that I liked. It was a great feeling to take a picture and really be proud of how it turned out!
3) Q: What do you wish we had done that we did not?
A: I wish that we would've worked with our film cameras more this semester than we did. I really enjoyed the excitement that I got when I developed my film and that the pictures turned out good.
4) Q: What was your struggle?
A: The main struggle for me was being creative. It was hard for me to decide what to take pictures of. I really wanted to take pictures that were unique and different so I had to come up with new ideas that I thought were creative.
5) Q: What did you conquer?
A: I think that one of the things I conquered was working in photoshop. I had a lot of fun editing pictures and messing around with all the effects. I never knew before how big of a difference adjusting the brightness on a photo could make until now.
6) Q: Give me the "how's", the "why's," and the "what for's"..
A: Why did I enjoy this class class so much? Because it was fun, and I also learned a lot! I learned how to work in a dark room, I learned how to edit pictures, I even learned how to take a picture through a hole in a can!

Light
Overall, this was a fun project for me. I took most of my pictures of my brother. I turned off all the lights in my house and took a flash light and shined it on him to create a shadow. It was hard for me to position and control the light and to get my brother to corporate while I was taking the pictures of him.
